|Players celebrate after winning BTV Cup's semi-final match
(VNS)Viet Nam Under-23s took a berth in the final of the Binh Duong Television International Football Cup after beating the South Korean student team 4-3 on penalties yesterday.
After the official 90 minutes the two side left the field with a goalless score, although the Koreans played with only 10 men after 67 minutes.
The results must be finalised with the penalty shootout in which the visitors missed two chances, as Vietnamese goalie Nguyen Manh successfully saved his net. While only captain Nguyen Van Quyet of Viet Nam failed.
The U23s will play Becamex BInh Duong in the final tomorrow. — VNS
