Binh Dinh withdraws low quality drugs

BINH DINH – Three drugs that did not meet regulatory standards needed to be removed from local drug stores, read a document signed by deputy director of the central Binh Dinh province 's Health Department Ho Viet My.

Document No 391/SYT-NVD revealed the names and producers of the low quality drugs which include FIXIWIN-100, produced by the Mediwin Pharmaceuticals Company, India; Loreta-10 Tablets, produced by the Holden Medical Company Ltd Cyprus-Europe Holden; and Biosubtyl enzyme, produced by the Da Lat Pasteur Vaccine Manufacturing Company.

The department has directed its functional units to revoke all quantities of the three drugs from local stores and vowed to conduct an investigation of the process. – VNS
