DA NANG — Indian Navy ship INS Sahyadri (F49), carrying 300 crew members, began a five-day friendship visit to Da Nang's Tien Sa Port yesterday.
The friendship visit, which aims to develop strategic partnership co-operation between Viet Nam and India, will involve meetings with the central city's people's committee, Naval Zone 3 and the command of Military Zone 5.
The Shivalik-class stealth multi-role frigate ship and crew members will have a tour of the central city, a volleyball match with Naval Zone 3 team, and maritime exercises such as rescue and search at sea.
A farewell ceremony will take place at Tien Sa Port next Tuesday.
