HA NOI (VNS) — A survey of public opinion about six public service sectors will be held this year in an attempt to improve the quality of the services.
A project, led by the home affairs ministry, will study people's opinion of public services, particularly the district–level services that provide identity cards, land-use certificates and residential construction permits.
Three other services at the communal level, about which public opinion will be sought, are those providing marriage certificates, birth certificates and the notarisation process.
The survey will be limited to only those residents who used these six public services in 2014.
The programme will be carried out across 10 randomly selected cities and provinces, comprising Ha Noi, HCM City, Da Nang and the seven provinces of Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, Hung Yen and Ha Tinh, besides Dak Lak, Tay Ninh and Ca Mau.
A total of 15,120 survey forms are expected to be given out in 36 districts and 108 communes in July and August. The survey results will be announced in October this year.
The home affairs ministry will be the main coordinator of the programme, along with the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front and the Veterans Association of Vietnam. — VNS
