HA NOI (VNS) — In a national vaccination campaign that started on September 15, the National Expanded Programme on Immunisation has given more than 9.5 million children aged between one and 14 the combined measles and rubella vaccine.
No serious adverse reactions had been reported, a programme representative said. The only reactions had been a slight fever or pain at the site of the shot.
The six-month campaign aims to safely provide the vaccine to at least 95 per cent of the 23 million children aged one to 14. — VNS
