TAY NINH  (VNS) — Five Vietnamese girls were returned to Viet Nam on Thursday by Cambodia's Ministry of Social Issues, Veterans and Adolescents.

Promised jobs selling coffee, the girls were instead sold to brothels in Cambodia, according to the police.

Cambodian police found the girls in October 2013, following which they were handed over to the Ministry of Social Issues, Veterans and Adolescents. Representatives from Viet Nam's Department of Immigration and Tay Ninh's Police Department met them at the Moc Bai International Border Gate in Tay Ninh on Thursday.— VNS
