Vietnamese die in tragic coach accident in Thailand

HA NOI (VNS) — Thirteen people, including 12 Vietnamese nationals, died after a coach collided with a truck in the northeastern province of Chaiyaphum of Thailand yesterday.

The coach was among four coaches hired to carry a group of Vietnamese tourists from Bangkok to the northeastern province of Nong Bua Lumpu of Thailand, according to the Bangkok Post.

The coach burst into flames after the crash, leading nine men and four women dead.

Four others were injured in the accident. The case is under investigation. — VNS
