Ship's crew rescued off Nha Trang

NHA TRANG (VNS)— The Viet Nam Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Center (MRCC) rescued thirty crew members off Nha Trang City, the central province of Khanh Hoa, yesterday.

The MRCC sent the rescue team after receiving SOS messages from the ship on Tuesday after it broke down 150 miles off the coast. Rescue personnel battled tough winds and strong waves before reaching the crew at 9pm. Ship captain Nguyen Dinh Hiep confirmed crew members escaped the incident unharmed. — VNS
