DAK LAK (VNS) — Fifteen local companies have had their operations suspended after bottling and selling bottled water that failed to meet food safety requirements.

The Central Highland Dak Lak Province People's Committee found that most of the violators could not provide legal documents, including food safety certificates, to prove the quality of their products complied with regulations, and some were found to be processing water using unhygienic methods.

Their products, sold under the labels Voka, Hero, Panona, Kim Anh, and Vita Water, have been banned from sale to avoid endangering public health. — VNS
