HA NOI (VNS)— Vietnamese workers are to participate in the 42nd World Skills contest to begin tomorrow in Germany and end on July 8.
The competition involving 46 skills has attracted more than 1,000 contestants from 67 countries and regions.
Vietnamese workers will compete in six industries: transportation and logistics, construction and building technology, manufacturing and engineering technology, information and communication technology, social and personal services and creative arts and fashion.
The country's contestants, planned to number 13, were chosen for high-level training, based on their high results in the 9th ASEAN skills competition.
Viet Nam ranked 23th out 43 countries in the 41st World Skills held in London in 2011. — VNS
