HA NOI (VNS)— Viet Nam and Mongolia's ministries of Health yesterday signed an agreement on health co-operation for the 2013-2015 period.
The two ministries will strengthen their partnership in training, scientific research, pharmaceuticals and preventive and traditional medicine. Direct co-operation between hospitals, universities and research institutes from both sides has also been encouraged.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long said that health co-operation between Viet Nam and Mongolia has seen positive developments since 2002 when the two sides inked their first agreement in this area.
The two governments always encouraged this partnership, especially in their annual inter-governmental sessions, he added. — VNS
