mourn Durian victims
Ha Noi — Leaders and
foreign ministers from Laos, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Mongolia, France,
Singapore and Pakistan have sent messages of condolences to Vietnamese victims
of Typhoon Durian Typhoon, which struck southern provinces earlier this month.
The condolences were sent
to President Nguyen Minh Triet, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Deputy Prime
Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem.
The typhoon victims have
received financial assistance from many countries.
Vietnamese agencies abroad
also received condolences from individuals, organisations and local governments.
