HA NOI (VNS)— President Truong Tan Sang yesterday received six incoming ambassadors who presented him with their credentials.
The ambassadors in attendance were Kgomotso Ruth Magau from South Africa, Igor Pacolak from Slovakia, Alfonso Tena Garcia from Spain, Lachin Oglu Imanov from Azerbaijan, Toomas Lukk from Estonia and Paras Ghimire from Nepal.
Congratulating the ambassadors on their new posts, Sang said their tenures would be particularly meaningful because they coincided with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Viet Nam and many countries.
Sang promised that Vietnamese agencies would do everything in their power to allow the embassies to fulfil their missions.
The ambassadors told Sang they would do their best to promote the relationship between their countries and Viet Nam. — VNS
