Ministry to resolve site clearance issues

Update: May, 07/2012 - 10:28
Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has asked the Ministry of Transport to work with four cities and provinces – Ha Noi, Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Hai Phong – to solve site-clearance problems related to the Ha Noi-Hai Phong highway project.

Previously, the Prime Minister had asked the four cities to complete site clearance and resettlement compensation and hand over land to the project's investor by March 31. But they failed to do so.

The 105 kilometre-long project, designed for vehicles to run at a speed of 120 km per hour, is expected to open to traffic near the end of 2014.
