PHNOM PENH (VNS) — Ha Noi will offer financial support worth US$2 million to the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh to build a primary school.

The agreement was reached between Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Nguyen The Thao and Phnom Penh Governor Paso Cheatevong, while meeting in the Cambodian capital last Friday.

During the meeting, Governor Cheatevong praised Ha Noi's assistance to Phnom Penh's education system.

In return, Chairman Thao expressed his belief that the traditional friendship and mutual support between Viet Nam and Cambodia - as well as between both capital cities - will further flourish. — VNS
