HA NOI (VNS) — The preparation of personnel and the numbers and allocation of delegates to the 12th Party Congress next year topped the agenda at the Party Central Committee's 11th meeting, which opened today.
During the four-day meeting, Party Central Committee members will also discuss the model of local governments, the construction of the Long Thanh International Airport project in the southern province of Dong Nai and the reports on what has been resolved since the 10th plenum in January this year.
Speaking at the opening session, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasised the important tasks of poring over Party draft documents and personnel plan in line with Party statute before submitting them to the 12th Congress next year.
