DA NANG (VNS) — Vietnamese and Chinese experts reached some agreements on co-operation for co-development at sea during their fourth round of negotiations which ended yesterday in the central city of Da Nang.
The two sides agreed to continue implementing the common perceptions of high-ranking leaders from both countries and comply with the agreed basic principles guiding the settlement of issues at sea between Viet Nam and China to discuss co-operation for co-development. This was in accordance with international laws, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea.
The discussions were reportedly held in a frank and open manner, where both sides clearly stated their views on co-operation for co-development at sea. — VNS
