HA NOI (VNS) — The ongoing visit by Viet Nam's National Assembly delegation to Ukraine seeks to enhance multi-faceted cooperation between the two parliaments and the two countries.
Bilateral ties have been fostered and developed in the past between the legislatures, stressed NA Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son during his talks with First Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Ihor Kaletnik on Thursday.
Son thanked Ukraine for supporting Viet Nam's election as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council for the 2014-16 tenure. He also invited Ukrainian lawmakers to visit Viet Nam.
For his part, Koletnik expressed his hope to increase ties between both parliaments and affirmed that his country supports high-level exchanges and increasing trade investments. . — VNS
