HA NOI (VNS)— Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh yesterday hosted a reception for a high-level delegation from the Republic of Korea's Maritime Police High Command.
Defence co-operation between Viet Nam and the RoK has developed significantly in recent times, Thanh told the visiting guests, who are being led by Senior Colonel Choi Sang Hwan, head of the High Command's Equipment and Technology Division.
The minister praised the relations between Viet Nam's Maritime Police and its RoK counterparts, which revolves around training and experience sharing.
Senior Colonel Hwan said he hoped the co-operation between the two countries' armies and maritime police forces will continue to grow. — VNS
