HCM City's People' Committee ordered Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street's management team to forbid pets on the walkway last week.
The ban also included selling coffee, skating and sitting on picnic blankets.
The tourist-friendly pedestrian street opened to the public in April, and attracts thousands of visitors every day – many of whom bring their pets with them.
What do you think about the ban on pets? Do you think it could improve the street or make it more beautiful?
