Youngsters in Viet Nam are quickly catching up with global trends. Some trends are welcomed by the local community, but others are not.

The latest trend to enter Viet Nam is the ‘kiss cam', a social game that started in arenas and stadiums during sporting events in the US and Canada. It is intended as a light-hearted diversion from the main event during a timeout or advertisement break. A ‘kiss cam' camera scans the crowd and selects a couple. Their images are shown on giant screens in the arena, meaning they're invited to kiss one another. This is usually encouraged by the rest of the audience.

However, some youngsters in Viet Nam randomly select strangers and kiss them regardless of their surroundings. This trend is a hot topic of discussion on social networks and online forums at the moment, after a group of youngsters in HCM City posed a clip of them kissing strangers on the street.

What do you think about this? How do youngsters respond to global trends in your countries? Should the Vietnamese Government apply a Do's and Don'ts regulation on trends Vietnamese youngsters can follow to suit the country?
