A recent National Institute of Nutrition report said Vietnamese people are the shortest in Asia, and one of the reasons for this is a lack of exercise. A UK medical journal also ranked Viet Nam one of the laziest countries in an international study in 2012.
However, walking through the streets of Ha Noi, especially in the early morning and evening, you can see countless people exercising and playing in parks and around lakes.
Judging from your own observations, do you think Vietnamese people are not interested in healthy activities? Do you think it is because of the lack of public places and decent facilities, like gyms or sports fields? Do you find it difficult to find a place to exercise? What suggestions do you have to encourage more people to exercise in cities with 7 to 8 million people like Ha Noi?
