Vent your rental woes.
In Viet Nam, tenants often have no choice but to deal directly with landlords who choose to avoid using agents. As a result, many problems can develop between the two sides.
For foreign tenants, problems can also arise from differences in culture and language as well as the lack of local legal knowledge.
How did you find your current rental house in Viet Nam? What problems have you faced and how well has your landlord or landlady treated you? How did you solve any differences?
Would you tend to trust a property agent in Viet Nam when you want to rent a house? What do you think can be done to improve home rental services in Viet Nam for foreigners?
