Military parade marks 70th anniversary of Great Patriotic War victory

MOSCOW  A military parade in celebration of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was organised today in Russia's Moscow.

President of Russia, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Russia Vladimir Putin reviewed the anniversary victory parade, which has been reported as one of the largest and grandest parades in the entire history of the celebration on the Red Square of Moscow.

Over 16,500 military men and women, together with 200 military machines, 143 airplanes and helicopters, attended the parade.
