On the 5th of May 2019, Pharmacity celebrated its 8th birthday and was delighted to mark this special occasion with the Grand Opening of the 200th Pharmacity store in Diamond Island on the 11th of May 2019.
Throughout the 8-year journey, Pharmacity has successfully conquered many difficulties and challenges during the early years of being a pharmacy retail chain start-up. CEO of Pharmacity, Mr. Chris Blank shares “At Pharmacity, we always strive to improve ourselves by bringing to the customers only the best quality products with outstanding customer service. With the vision “Living healthily and beautifully with Pharmacity everyday”, the Board of Management of Pharmacity is also constantly expanding the number of stores throughout the country so that customers can easily access to our products consisting of pharmaceuticals, vitamin and supplements, cosmeceuticals and other FMCGs”.
Currently, Pharmacity has a number of stores in Binh Duong, Vung Tau, Can Tho, Hanoi and especially Ho Chi Minh City has always been one of the most important strategic markets of the business. In the future, Pharmacity will bring their stores to all 63 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

Last April, Pharmacity was honored and delighted to welcome the 1000th pharmacist and 1 millionth Extracare loyal customer, these achievements are the driving force towards the company’s goal: by November 10, 2021, Pharmacity will have 1,000 stores nationwide. And this very 200th store is one of the most important key milestones along the business’s path to reaching greater achievements in the future.
At the 200th Pharmacity store in Diamond Island, in addition to applying international standard designs and utilities in order to bring exciting shopping experiences to customers, this is the first time Pharmacity invested in building a clinic inside the pharmacy. This is one of the breakthrough ideas of the Board of Directors with the vision of providing better service to meet the health care needs of all customers.

With the mission of caring for community health and joining hands to help disadvantaged children, CEO of Pharmacity Mr. Chris Blank also shares that in the 200th store Grand Opening, Pharmacity will organize a painting program for all children who attend the event, and each painting given to the Organizing Committee will be converted into a gift worth VND 200,000 to be donated to the Vietnam SOS Children's Villages.
