HA NOI (VNS) — The best representatives of Argentine cinema will be screened here at the annual Argentine Film Week at Cinematheque, 22A Hai Ba Trung Street, on November 28 and 29.
The movies include Metegol (A Team of Billiard Players), an animated film by director Juan Jose Campanella; Me Olvide (I Forgot), a short film by director Eduardo Williams; and Mi Primera Boda (My First Wedding), a romantic comedy by Ariel Winograd.
Also included are El Agua Del Fin Del Mundo (Paradise Sea), a drama by Paula Siero; and Viola, a drama by Matias Peneiro.
All films to be shown are nominees for prestigious awards in Argentina.
Metegol, in particular, has won numerous awards, including Best Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Sound at the Argentine Academy last year; Best Animation Film at Goya Awards 2014; and Best Original Music and Best Animation Film at the Platino Awards for Iberoamerican Cinema 2014. — VNS
