HA NOI (VNS) — The shooting of a television series co-produced by Vietnamese and South Korean media groups commenced yesterday.
The series, entitled Tuoi Thanh Xuan (Forever Young), is the second project of Viet Nam Television's Film Centre (VFC) that involves co-operation with foreign counterparts.
Being directed by Nguyen Khai Anh and Bui Tien Huy of Viet Nam, and Myung Hyun-woo of South Korea, the 36-episode series tells the story of young people who are enthusiastic about discovering life and its precious experiences that probably happen just once in their lives.
VFC and Korean CJ E&M producers worked over the past year to select the cast and shooting locations in Viet Nam and South Korea. More than 1,000 actors auditioned for the main roles in Viet Nam.
The film is expected to be broadcast at the end of this year in both two countries. — VNS
