Vietnamese photography exhibition opens in Japan

HA NOI (VNS)— Photos of Vietnamese people and their culture are on display in Tokyo to commemorate Photography Month 2013 which opened on Friday.

Photographer Ba Han introduced his collection Viet Nam - The Moments and will represent Vietnamese delegates by giving a talk at the event. Viet Nam has 86 photos displayed including monochrome photos of Vietnamese people in rural areas by Hoang The Nhiem, life of the Cham people by Huynh Van Nam, Vietnamese women by female photographers from Hai Au Club and ordinary lives by Nguyen Phu Binh.

The event has also attracted representatives from Japan, India, Bangladesh and Malaysia. All entries will be displayed until June 10. — VNS
