Growing investment in vibrant Vietnam maritime industry

The Government recently announced plans to develop the country by 2030 into a powerful maritime nation in areas such as security, tourism and fishery.

It has also approved construction of the Cái Mép Hạ logistics centre and a general cargo and container seaport in Phú Mỹ town in Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province.

Two new piers at Liên Chiểu Port in the central coastal city of Đà Nẵng are slated to be built under private-public partnership (PPP) mode with state-run Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) planning an investment of nearly VNĐ4 trillion (US$172.42 million)

With global interest in Việt Nam’s maritime industry, the 2019 INMEX Vietnam will be a key platform for local and international maritime professionals to come together and take advantage of the massive opportunities available.
