(VNS) The sixth turbine of Son La Hydro-electric Plant in northern Son La Province joined the national grid yesterday, marking the completion of the nation's biggest power plant. Construction of the plant, consisting of six turbines with capacity of 400MW each, was kicked off in 2005 and expected to be inaugurated next December, adding about 10.2 billion kWh each year. — VNA/VNS Dieu Chinh Toi
