DA NANG  (VNS) — Trainees from Nepal, Benin, Madagascar, Indonesia and China are taking part in a nine-day training course on natural conservation and community education skills in Da Nang.

The course, which is being organised by the Centre of Biodiversity Conservation, GreenViet and the San Diego Zoo Global in the US, aims to provide basic skills in natural conservation and community education on primate protection, while raising initiatives to protect the red-shanked douc langur.

In March, the San Diego Zoo Global and GreenViet also launched a programme to highlight the importance of primate conservation and environmental protection for over 100 junior secondary school and high school students in Son Tra District. — VNS
