HÀ NỘI — Đông Á Plastic Joint Stock Company in 2017 will increase its chartered capital to VNĐ500 billion (US$22.2 million) from the current VNĐ419 billion.
Increasing chartered capital is part of Đông Á Plastic’s 2017 plan, which was approved by its shareholders at the annual shareholder meeting on Friday.
At the meeting, the company’s shareholders also approved Đông Á Plastic paying five per cent dividend in shares for its 2016 performance.
Under the plan, each shareholder will receive one bonus share for every 20 shares owned by the shareholder. The dividend payment is expected to be made in the second or third quarter of 2017.
In 2017, Đông Á Plastic has targeted VNĐ1.71 trillion in revenue, a yearly increase of 22 per cent from 2016, and VNĐ72 billion in post-tax profit, a rise of 35 per cent year-on-year.
In 2016, the company earned VNĐ1.4 trillion in revenue, 11 per cent higher than 2015, and post-tax profit of VNĐ52 billion, an increase of 31 per cent.
The company’s shares are listed on the HCM Stock Exchange under code DAG. Shares ended Friday’s session up 0.4 per cent. — VNS
