The Việt Nam General Confederation of Labour has instructed provincial labour federations to submit their plans for organising the Month of Worker in May.

The celebrations will include honouring outstanding workers and ideas to improve productivity. There will also be music and cuisine shows.

The confederation is planning a meeting to celebrate the 130th International Labour Day on May 1 in Hà Nội, and expects to have 1,000 outstanding workers in the country taking part.
