Total cement sales in the January-February period reached nearly 9.5 million tonnes, according to the Building Material Department under the Ministry of Construction.

Domestic sales totalled 7.3 million tonnes, an increase of 10 per cent year-on-year. Exports reached around 2.2 million tonnes, equal to the same period last year.

The cement inventory in February was around 3 million tonnes.
