Lâm Đồng Province’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism has established a team to conduct comprehensive inspections of tourism safety on Monday.

The inspection team will examine equipment and environmental protection works at tourist spots. It will inspect 20 tourist sites with the highest number of tourists.

Nguyễn Thị Nguyên, director of the department, said the inspections aimed to minimize accidents and ensure the safety of tourists. Tourism companies violating regulations will be punished or suspended.

The inspections will end on March 25.
