Nearly 100 exhibitors from nine countries, including China, Singapore, Japan, Germany, South Korea and Thailand, are showing their products at more than 90 booths at a fashion expo that opened on Wednesday in Ha Noi.
The Viet Nam Fashion Fabric and Garment Machinery Expo 2015 was organised, together with the 2015 Asia Fashion Federation's (AFF) annual conference, by the Viet Nam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) and AFF.

Reporters attend training workshop
More than 60 reporters and editors from 24 local press agencies participated in a training workshop on writing and reporting about the life and people of ethnic groups and residents in remote areas across the country.
The training workshop, which takes place in the northern province of Tuyen Quang Province, is co-organised by the National Committee and the provincial committee under Decision 2472 and 1997/QD-TTg of the Government.

City needs $830m in loans for three projects
HCM City next year will need $830 million from the World Bank loans to develop three major projects, including projects to develop green transport, risk-management of flooding project and a programme to contribute to the city budget.
According to a report from the city's People's Committee, the project to develop green transport has an investment of $155 million, of which Official Development Assistance (ODA) loans account for $142 million; the flooding risk management project has an investment of $437 million, of which ODA accounts for $400 million; and the programme to contribute to the city's budget has an investment of $200-250 million.
