The HCM City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority (HEPZA) targets attracting investment capital of US$700 million in 2015 for projects in high-technology, support industry, electronics and computing, chemicals and food processing, and mechanics.
HEPZA has prepared 260 hectares at industrial parks Hiep Phuoc, An Ha, Tan Phu Trung and Dong Nam for investors.
Last year, HEPZA attracted total investment capital of $752 million.

City staff to get urban management training
The HCM City People's Committee plans to provide training courses in urban management and development to nearly 2,000 city officers.
Training will be given to chairmen and vice chairmen of wards' People's Committees, and staff in the departments of Construction, Planning and Architecture, Transports, and Natural Resources and Environment, as well as the management boards of Thu Thiem new urban area and Hi-Tech Park.

Free measles and rubella vaccines in July
Children aged 9-18 months will receive free vaccines against measles and rubella beginning in July under the national open vaccination programme, according to Tran Nhu Duong, deputy head of the Central Hygiene and Epidemiology Institute.
The programme targets providing vaccines for 20 million children by 2017 to eliminate measles and rubella.
