The Thua Thien-Hue Industrial Park Management Board, in a review of suspended projects, has asked provincial authorities for permission to revoke the licenses of 13 projects with total registered capital of VND653 billion (US$30.8 billion). Companies with big projects to be revoked include Tai Sun Viet Nam Co., Thua Thien Hue Ceramic Tiles and Minerals Co, and Tsunoda Viet Nam Co.
The province's committee also plans to revoke the licenses of 20 projects. Six of the projects are located in the Chan May –Lang Co economic zone, four are in industrial parks and the rest are in other areas of the province.

Cement sales to hit yearly targets
The Ministry of Construction's Department of Construction Materials said cement consumption had increased non-stop from May with output of 5-6 million tonnes per month.
Cement businesses said both revenue and profit had increased, and would possibly reach this year's target.
As of November 15, the volume of cement consumption for domestic and exports reached nearly 58 million tonnes, an increase of 16 per cent against the same period last year.
The ministry also forecasts that the cement sector will buy 66-67 million tones in this year.

More goods to be sold around Tet
The HCM City Department of Industry and Trade said the total goods value for the two months before and after Tet were expected to be nearly VND16 trillion (US$754 million), an increase of over VND8.3 trillion (391 million) over Tet 2014.
Trade centres and supermarkets in Ha Noi such as Metro, big C, Fivimart, Intimex, Hapro and Ocean Mart plan to sell goods for Tet worth VND2.3 trillion ($108 million), an increase of 10-15 per cent over the same period last year. The department said the goods volume for Tet 2015 would be plentiful, with diverse designs and high quality products at reasonable prices.
