According to the Viet Nam-Singapore Industrial Park in northern Hai Phong City, Dynapac Company (Japan) has been granted an investment certificate to produce carton packing and packing materials, with registered capital of $14 million.
The project will have a capacity of 5,321 tonnes of carton packing and 600 tonnes of packing materials a year when it goes into operation in August of next year.

Lam Dong closes mineral exploration areas
The People's Committee of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has revoked certificates and closed 12 mineral exploration areas in the districts of Lam Ha, Duc Trong, Di Linh, Da Huoai, Bao Lam and Da Lat City.
Investors were told to restore the environment at the areas. Most of the certificates had expired, and had not been granted extensions.

Viet Nam to supply more rice to Philippines
Viet Nam has won a new contract to supply 200,000 tonnes of 25 per cent broken rice to the Philippines as part of the total volume of 500,000 tonnes the country put up for tender on Monday.
Viet Nam was given the contract after agreeing on average costs, insurance and freight (CIF) prices of US$475 per tonne, lower than the initial bid by $4, as requested by the National Food Authority of the Philippines (NFA).
Thailand secured an order for 300,000 tonnes at the same CIF price.
