Dong Nai seeks opinions on new centre

The Dong Nai Province People's Committee held a meeting on Thursday to gather opinions on building a new administrative-political centre.

The 15-storey centre will spread over 122,000 square metres in Tam Phuoc Commune in Bien Hoa city and cost an estimated VND2.2 trillion ($106 million).

Quang Nam to supply power to rural villages

The central province of Quang Nam has begun a project to provide electricity to rural and mountainous villages and communes.

When completed in 2020 the VND668 billion (US$32 million) project will benefit 18,149 households.

LAO DONG (LABOUR)

Germany to help strengthen healthcare

The Ministry of Health and the German Agency for International Cooperation have begun the second phase of a project to strengthen provincial healthcare systems.

The two-year project will be undertaken in the five provinces of Thai Binh, Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Phu Yen.

The total cost will be 5.6 million euros ($7.76 million), which will include 5.1 million euros in official development assistance loans from Germany.
