Low-priced LED TVs outdo LCD peers

Since the beginning of this year, many brands that have launched LED television sets at cheap prices have found more customers than LCD televisions of the same price.

It costs between VND5 million-VND10 million for LED TV sets depending on the screen size (30-40 inches).

According to major electrical and household appliance traders like Nguyen Kim and Thien Hoa, until a few years ago, the cheapest price for an LED television was more than VND10 million.

It was at least VND2-3 million more than an LCD set.

The recent narrowing of the price gap has seen consumers show their preference for LED sets.
