3 new Co.opmart stores open

Saigon Co-op, the country’s leading retailer, on Friday opened a Co.opmart supermarket at Mỹ Lôc Commune in Long An Province’s Cần Giuôc District, its 104th outlet and third in the province.

HCM CITY —  Saigon Co-op, the country’s leading retailer, on Friday opened a Co.opmart supermarket at Mỹ Lộc Commune in Long An Province’s Cần Giuộc District, its 104th outlet and third in the southern province.

The 4,000sq.m outlet stocks more than 30,000 items like fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes and household utensils, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.

On Thursday, Co.opmart Phan Rí Cửa opened in Bình Thuận Province’s Tuy Phong District.

On Saturday, another store will be opened in Buôn Hồ Town, Đắk Lắk Province. 

The three new stores cost about VNĐ265 billion (US$11.37 million).

Like all other Co.opmart outlets, the new stores will sell price-stabilised goods and those with clear origins.

To mark its opening, they are offering discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items and hundreds of attractive gifts.

Customers shopping for at least VNĐ300,000 can win attractive lucky draw prizes like a Honda SH Mode 2018 scooter, Samsung refrigerators, TVs, 3D and others. — VNS
