Bảo Việt Group’s revenue up 24% in 2016

Bảo Việt Group (HOSE: BVH) recorded a revenue of around VNĐ25.7 trillion (US$1.13 billion) in 2016, a 24 per cent surge over 2015, and 14 per cent higher than the target set.

HÀ NỘI – Bảo Việt Group (HOSE: BVH) recorded a revenue of around VNĐ25.7 trillion (US$1.13 billion) in 2016, a 24 per cent surge over 2015, and 14 per cent higher than the target set.

According to the group’s audited financial results released on Monday, revenue from life insurance touched VNĐ13.48 trillion, making up 52.4 per cent of the company’s total revenue. Non-life insurance revenue reached VNĐ7.19 trillion or 28 per cent, while revenue from financial services and other areas totalled around VNĐ5 trillion or 19.6 per cent.

The group’s total assets last year was VNĐ14.5 trillion, a significant 25 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2015, data revealed.

Privatised in 2007, Bảo Việt Group aims to become a leader in both life and non-life insurance markets by 2020, as well as in fund management. The group now has 170 branches nationwide. - VNS
