A young man who was using a mobile phone and driving his trendy car down Ha Noi's Lo Duc Street last Friday suddenly crashed into a middle-aged man riding his bicycle.
According to locals, although the young man was definitely at fault, when he got out of his car he collared the older man and tried to hit him.
Unfortunately for the car driver, the man he was trying to hit - for the second time - was an actor famous for his fighting prowess in gangster movies. And that prowess was real, the youngster quickly realised!
Within seconds, he was apologising profusely.
Facebooker caught out
Vo Quoc Anh, a 20-year-old man living in Quang Ngai Province's Chau O Town, was caught last Friday posting fake news about snakes on his Facebook account to get more hits of approval.
He claimed that a man was arrested for transporting 30 kilos of live vipers in Tay Tra District. Anh told police that he posted the fake news for fun and did not think about the consequences.
However, the news scared the wits out of many people already suffering from a real attack of vipers forced out of their environment by unseasonal weather. Many people were bitten and taken to hospital.
Police said that the man might face a fine of VND20-30 million (US$938-1,408) for spreading fake news.
So, if you don't want to lose face or your money and reputation, make sure that what you put on Facebook is factual. — VNS
