HCM CITY — A nature conservation and wildlife protection programme for children aged 12 to 15 has recently launched in HCM City.
The Take Part in Nature Protection programme, which will run through May next year, will include visits to the Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station and Cat Tien National Park, as well as games and photo contests.
The programme is organised by the HCM City-based non-profit organisation Wildlife at Risk (WAR) in coordination with Khan Quang Do (Red Scarf) Magazine.
The event is an opportunity for members of Em Yeu Thien Nhien (I Love Nature) Club and Phong Vien Nhi (Little Reporters) Club and readers of the magazine to learn more about nature and wildlife.
"Children should be equipped with the skills and knowledge to learn how to use natural resources wisely," said Nguyen Vu Khoi, director of WAR. — VNS
