Bhling Talah has just
celebrated her 120th birthday in Tr’Hy Commune, Quang Nam Province, according
to the Tr’Hy Commune’s Party Committee.
Talah is an ethnic Co Tu
woman in Voong Village in Tay Giang District.
Talah is still in good
health and walks well. She can cook meals and do light housework. She married
three times and has six children with her first husband.

National Park to get new status
The Viet Nam UNESCO
Committee and the Ca Mau Province’s People’s Committee discussed a plan on
Monday to recognise Mui Ca Mau National Park as an international biosphere
The Mui Ca Mau National
Park in Ca Mau Province, established in 2002 by the Government, has a total area
of 41,862 ha, including 26,600 ha of sea coastal land.
The park has the largest
saline submerged mangrove forest in Viet Nam. It is also home to more than 100
precious animal species.
