Deal struck for Cam Ranh-Seoul air service for tourists

The Nha Trang-Khánh Hoà Tourism Association and South Korea’s Jeju Air signed a deal last week to launch air service between Cam Ranh and the Korean capital Seoul.

Starting later this year there will be a daily flight. Each trip will take around five hours.

The tourism association will work with local tour operators and hotels to develop services and human resources to serve Korean tourists. It will also seek to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese travellers to visit Korea.

The association conducted a survey of the South Korean market, found it had great potential for growth and reached out to its Korean partner. The association also intends to add new markets beyond the already-robust Chinese and Russian tourist flow.
