KIÊN GIANG — A high-speed boat service will be launched in July to connect the Mekong province of Sóc Trăng with Côn Đảo Island, the Superdong Fast Ferry Kiên Giang Joint Stock Company announced.

There will be two boats a day departing at 8am from Trần Đề Port (in Sóc Trăng) and at 1pm from Bến Đầm Port (in Côn Đảo).

Tickets will cost VND220,000- 310,000 per person.

Built in Malaysia, the US$3.2 million vessels have two decks and can carry 306 passengers. — VNS
