The number of people buying summer tours has increased significantly recently, with travel operators launching new tours to attract customers, according to Hà Nội-based travel firms.

Due to the hot weather, tours to beaches are very popular, with northern beaches like Hạ Long, Cát Bà and Sầm Sơn being the favourites this year.

Central and southern beach towns like Đà Nẵng, Chu Lai, Lý Sơn Island, Quy Nhơn, Phú Yên, Nha Trang, Mũi Né, and Phú Quốc are also popular.

Many have opted for overseas tours.

Phạm Bich Ngọc, deputy director of Vietrantour, said popular foreign destinations include children’s favourites like Disneyland in Hong Kong, Universal Studio in Singapore and Everland in South Korea.

Many are also visiting the US, Europe and Russia. — VNS
