Da Nang to develop inland waterways to attract tourists
Da Nang has drawn up plans to expand tourism by further developing inland waterway tourism and new tourism products. It targets creating a French village and four-season flower garden.
The city said it wanted to take advantage of the direct flights between Da Nang and Japan, Korea and Thailand.
According to Da Nang's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the city targets 3.6 million tourists next year, an increase of 15 per cent year-on-year.
The total number of visitors to the city this year has reached 3.1 million. Of that number, international tourists totalled 743,000, an increase of 17.8 per cent. — VNS
